{"id":11496,"date":"2019-09-04T08:09:18","date_gmt":"2019-09-04T01:09:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.upmd.fr\/boards-committees-commissions\/%f0%9f%85%b2-health-and-citizenship-education-committee-cesc\/"},"modified":"2019-09-04T08:09:18","modified_gmt":"2019-09-04T01:09:18","slug":"%f0%9f%85%b2-health-and-citizenship-education-committee-cesc","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.upmd.fr\/en\/boards-committees-commissions\/%f0%9f%85%b2-health-and-citizenship-education-committee-cesc\/","title":{"rendered":"\ud83c\udd72 Health and Citizenship Education Committee (CESC)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How can we help our children learn to take care of their health and become good citizens?<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Contact CESC at <a href=\"mailto:contact@upmd.fr\">contact@upmd.fr[<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Comit\u00e9 d&#8217;\u00e9ducation \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 et \u00e0 la citoyennet\u00e9 (CESC &#8211; health and citizenship education committee) is part of the management of each secondary school, in accordance with the provisions of articles <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/affichCode.do?idArticle=LEGIARTI000018380672&amp;idSectionTA=LEGISCTA000018380674&amp;cidTexte=LEGITEXT000006071191&amp;dateTexte=20081104\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">R 421-46<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/affichCodeArticle.do%25252525253Bjsessionid=092A84AC1A886D22855221692F597139.tpdjo14v_2?idArticle=LEGIARTI000018380670&amp;cidTexte=LEGITEXT000006071191&amp;dateTexte=20081104\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">421-47<\/a> of the French Education Code.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a body for reflection, observation and proposals, which designs, implements and evaluates an educational project for citizenship and health education and violence prevention, integrated into the school project. The CESC organizes partnerships according to the educational issues to be addressed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Missions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>contribute to citizenship education,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>prepare the violence prevention plan,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>propose actions to help parents in difficulty and combat exclusion,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>define a program of health and sexuality education and addiction prevention.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Composition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the school&#8217;s educational, social and healthcare staff,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>representatives of teaching staff,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>parent representatives,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>student representatives,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>representatives of the commune and the local authority.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Representatives of teaching staff, parents and students are appointed by the head of the school on the recommendation of Board members in their respective categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Partners<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CESC can involve competent partners in its work, who can make a useful contribution to the school&#8217;s educational and prevention policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Chairmanship<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CESC is chaired by the school principal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\">\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">contact@upmd.fr<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\">\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignfull has-text-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\" style=\"color:#000000;background-color:#ffffff\">\n<div style=\"height:64px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"line-height:.9\"><strong>I am committed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"schedule-a-visit\" style=\"font-size:clamp(32.969px, 2.061rem + ((1vw -
