{"id":11475,"date":"2019-09-04T04:35:48","date_gmt":"2019-09-03T21:35:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.upmd.fr\/boards-committees-commissions\/%f0%9f%85%b2-school-health-safety-commission\/"},"modified":"2025-03-24T10:05:02","modified_gmt":"2025-03-24T03:05:02","slug":"%f0%9f%85%b2-school-health-safety-commission","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.upmd.fr\/en\/boards-committees-commissions\/%f0%9f%85%b2-school-health-safety-commission\/","title":{"rendered":"\ud83c\udd72 School Health &amp; Safety Commission"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Together, let&#8217;s be vigilant<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Role<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Health and Safety Commission (CHS) is consulted on the following matters:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>health and safety of the educational community ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>proposing health and safety training programs for members of the educational community;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>compliance with and monitoring of all health and safety regulations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>results of fire and intrusion drills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>security measures to be taken in liaison with the embassy and the AEFE security advisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The commission can propose actions or measures to be implemented in these different areas, at the very least in compliance with the provisions of local law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In carrying out their duties, committee members will be given every opportunity to participate actively (site visits, participation in drills (e.g. fire drills, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Source : lfiduras.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Composition<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Health and Safety Commission provided for in Article L. 231-2-2 of the French Labor Code comprises :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Head of School, Chairman ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The facility manager ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Principal Education Advisor on the Board of Directors ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The works manager ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The representative of the local authority ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 staff representatives for teaching staff ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 staff representative for administrative, social, health, technical, labor and service staff. This number is increased to two in schools with more than 600 students; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 parent representatives ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 student representatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The deputy head attends meetings of the health and safety committee.
