A secondary school council is set up in secondary schools. When
the school has only secondary schools, the school council exercises the powers of the secondary school council.
Responsibilities:
The Secondary School Council prepares the work of the School Council for secondary school matters, particularly in the following areas:
– secondary education structures ;
– organization of school time and calendar ;
– the secondary school section of the school project, based on, among other things, the
proposals from the pedagogical council ;
– the conditions for adapting the schooling of pupils with special educational needs in
taking into account local constraints ;
– projects and organization of school trips ;
– issues relating to welcoming and informing parents, and the procedures for
of their participation in school life;
– the annual School-College Council action program;
– the annual action program against all forms of violence, discrimination and
harassment;
– the annual action program for education in sustainable development and citizenship. It
adopts its own rules of procedure
